If you work in one of Wyoming's largest industries, AG, there's a good chance you're working in the family business. There's also a chance that you had an experience in 3rd grade that impacted you so much that you knew AG was for you.

The Natrona County Cow-Belles hosted the 32nd annual AG Expo at the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds. 3rd graders from around the district could spend the day learning the importance of AG in Natrona County, all while getting hands-on experience.

More than 800 kids in attendance learned about the tools of the ranching trade from the Cow-Belles, including tagging ears, branding, fencing, vaccinations, and tending to animals that needed a little extra TLC.

They got an up-close look at equipment used daily in the agriculture industry. Natrona County Fire District showed off one of its trucks and taught the kids how vital emergency agencies were to help protect farms, ranches, and other properties used by agriculture.

Over 38,000 students have been a part of the annual event over the last 32 years. It's safe to say that with that many students getting the opportunity to spend the day learning about AG through the years changed career paths.

To continue, an event this size, with this strong of a tradition, requires the help of many organizations, individual contributors, and volunteers.

A special thank you to the terrific NCSD student leaders who shared their knowledge and skills to support this incredible event with presentations, clean-up, and organization: Trail Buster and Meadow Acres 4-H Clubs, Natrona County 4-H, Windy City FFA, NCHS Casper FFA, CY FFA, and NCHS ROTC.
