Here’s How To Empower Women To Soar In Casper

The fall of 2023 Thankful Thursday schedule is coming to a close, but we're not quite finished helping local organizations raise money.

One of our remaining two organizations is called Dress For Success Casper. The organization is part of a global mission to empower women to be financially independent and thrive in the career of their choosing.

Sometimes the hardest thing for someone is to have clothing to wear for interviews or having the knowledge or experience to have a successful interview. That's where Dress For Success comes jumps into action.

Dress For Success has a simple mission:

Our vision is a world where women do not live in poverty. We strive for a world where all women are financially independent, are treated with dignity and respect and are directly impacting their lives and those of their families. We aspire to a world that fully harnesses the power of women and recognizes their role in economic sustainability.

Like I said earlier, Dress For Success is global organization, BUT we have a chapter locally here in Casper. That means, that any women that need help with finding that perfect interview outfit, needs the extra boost of confidence to go out and win over the interviewers, or find a supportive network to lend a hand...it's right here with Dress For Success. 

Not only will they be part of Thankful Thursday and raising money for this cause, but if you have dresses or other clothing that could benefit a woman's mission get to the next level, there's a donation drive going on this Friday, 11/10, from 10am-1pm behind FC Outlet on 2nd St in Casper.

Donation day is coming! Drop off your donations in the alley behind FC Outlet THIS Friday from 10am to 1pm! Your kind donation will assist women who are unemployed or underemployed on their journey to self sufficiency.
