Other than a few cold nights, one big snowstorm, and some wild 'W' word, this fall hasn't been too bad. If you like to go ice fishing or waterfowl hunting, it may feel like time is dragging by.

This is Wyoming, and the weather can change in a heartbeat. Over the next 4 to 5 months, Mother Nature will rear her head and smack us a good one.

While the weather is calm(ish), the City of Casper has a fun task for you and your family to complete. You better hurry, as time is running out.

What kind of name do you feel a snow plow should have?

  • Thor
  • Cletus
  • Burly
  • Slick
  • Bowser

The options are endless, but there's no doubt that Casper has some talented, creative, fun people living here. So, what can you come up with?

The problem is that you don't have much time to put this task off. For those keeping track at home, the deadline is midnight tomorrow night, December 18th. That means you only have a couple of days to come up with a new name for the snow plow so it's properly named when the next snowfall hits.

To enter, go to CasperWy.gov and fill out the form.

You'll need to include your address, first and last name, email address, and up to five possible names for the snow plow. Make sure you have parental consent before you add this information.

Good luck. We can't wait to see all the exciting names that are entered.
