Ian Munsick’s Love Of Wyoming Shows In His Music
Country music is well represented in Wyoming, but Wyoming is well represented is also well represented in country music. That's thanks to the country music artists that are Wyomingites that have never forgotten where they're from.
One of those artists is Ian Munsick.
Country Music Television's Hot 20 Countdown aired a segment called First Person: Ian Munsick breaks down new album 'White Buffalo'.
During the segment, Ian spoke of how much Wyoming means to him and how the state has played a major part of making him the person and artist he is today.
Being from Wyoming, Ian told CMT that when he was growing up, he never heard songs about where he was from on the radio, and that he had plans to change that.
I promised myself that when I moved to Nashville, that I would bring this part of the country with me. Because it's as country as it gets, as beautiful as it gets and is extremely unrepresented in country music.
Ian has kept that promise and Wyoming is well represented on his latest album 'White Buffalo'.
The 'White Buffalo' album has been out since earlier this year and is making traction in the music world. The tile track, 'White Buffalo', definitely has a western feel and the video captures the beauty of the mountain region.
Ian is in the middle of his fall 'The Buffalo Roams tour' that will last through his final stop of the year in Las Vegas at the NFR.
