On March 3, National Pancake Day, the International House of Pancakes in Evansville will celebrate a “Decade of Giving,” and offer guests a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

With every short stack of pancakes served, diners will be invited to make a donation to designated charities, including Shriners Hospitals for Children®. The IHOP restaurants that have chosen Shriners Hospitals for Children as the beneficiary of this event are predominately in Texas, with additional locations in Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Wyoming.

Dale W. Stauss, chairman of the board of directors of Shriners Hospitals for Children said,

“National Pancake Day is a tremendous opportunity to raise awareness and funds for our health care system, We appreciate the generosity of IHOP and we thank everyone for giving. Your donations will help us continue to fulfill our mission of improving the lives of children.”

Everyone enjoys pancakes, celebrate on National Pancake Day by visiting your local IHOP restaurant and giving to Shriners Hospitals for Children. For a list of participating IHOP restaurants or to learn more about Shriners Hospitals for Children, visit shrinershospitalsforchildren.org.
