Is Chivalry Dead?

Just because women are independent and fully capable of doing things on their own doesn't mean they don't appreciate some chivalrous behavior from the men in their lives.

Here are a few chivalrous acts that any woman would like, and would certainly miss if they went away.

Holding the door open for a lady: This can be looked at as old-fashioned, but be warned when you walk through a door without holding it open for a lady, they notice!

Holding an umbrella over her in the rain: This is one of the most thoughtful and (quite frankly) romantic gestures a woman could ever want in her guy. You'll look like a hero and keep her from looking like a drowned rat by the time you reach your destination.

Picking up the check: Yes, women can pay for themselves, and, yes, they can even pay for you. But if you throw down your card for a meal every now and then, the woman you're with will feel special and taken care of.

Walking a lady to her car: This is really more of a safety issue than anything else. It doesn't matter how into or not into a lady you are. If you don't have the common courtesy to walk her to her car at night, they wouldn't want to be with you anyway.

Remember doing something nice for someone will not only make you feel good, but it will also make you look good in the eyes of others.
