Natrona track and field performer Bridger Anderson has decided on Black Hills State in Spearfish, South Dakota as the next stop on his athletic journey. Last week at the Gillette Indoor Track Meet, He took 2nd in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.13 and his Mustang 4x200 meter relay team took 3rd. In the 55-meter dash, Anderson was 13th in the preliminaries which isn't bad considering 180 runners were competing in the event.

At the State Indoor Track Meet back in March, Anderson took the top of the podium in the long jump with a leap of 22-5. He was 2nd in the 55 hurdles in 7.80, 7th in the 55 dash and his 1600 medley relay squad took 9th. Back in 2022, he was 2nd in the long jump at State going 20-10.5 and his 4x200 meter relay team was 8th

At the 2023 Outdoor State Championships in Casper, Anderson placed 5th in the long jump and was 10th in the prelims of the 110 hurdles. He'll have plenty of time to display his skills in the 2024 prep season before heading off to college.

Black Hills State is a Division II institution that competes in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
