WHSAA State Wrestling Information

The defending team champions are Star Valley in girls, who have won three in a row, Moorcroft in 2A boys, Powell in 3A boys, and Thunder Basin in 4A boys. The Wolves and Bolts are two-time defending champs.

One wrestler, Star Valley senior Tel Parry, will try to join the rare four-time champions club. If he accomplishes the feat, Parry would be the 34th member.

Five girls and four boys’ wrestlers seek a third title of their prep career. The boys are Glenrock’s Brody Allen, Thunder Basin’s Breckin Henry, Wylee Willson of Pinedale, and Kimball Parry from Star Valley. Several wrestlers are seeking a second title in their prep career.

The weekend is also highlighted by four wrestlers who enter this weekend undefeated. The girls are Alaina McNees of H.E.M. at 110 pounds and Kaylie Julander from Kemmerer at 140 pounds. The undefeated boys are Sheridan’s Braxten Crow at 190 pounds in 4A, and Hudson Baker of Rawlins in 3A at 120 pounds.
