A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about a journey across the Oregon Trail, hosted by an AI girl named Tay. At that time, she had reached Wyoming.

The first mention of anything in Wyoming was Fort Laramie, then Register Cliff.

The story, hosted mostly on TikTok, has all the elements that someone would want: History, action, murder, romance, and love triangles. But this is all written and produced by artificial intelligence. (AI).

In the videos I've posted below, she crosses the Platte River at Casper, then moves on to Independence Rock and Devil's Gate.

I'll put the Wyoming portion of her journey in order, for those who are new to this story and have not seen it before.

This first video, below, is the first mention of Fort Laramie.

Her visit to Fort Laramie is unrealistic.

The TikTok videos below are AI-generated and a lot of fun to watch.

The quality is really good.

The story is about a young lady who is posting on social media as she and her family take a wagon train out West.

It is the eight hundreds, and they are on the Oregon Trail.

The story is filled with suspense, romantic drama, and perhaps a murder mystery.

There is something seriously wrong with wagon eleven. They can't be trusted.

In our first video, I'll skip ahead in the journey to where they hope to arrive at Fort Laramie by first light.

Arriving at Fort Laramie, our young lady host steps even farther out from reality with a nice bath, a warm bed, some shopping, and a chance to relax.

The reality was that Fort Laramie never offered such luxuries to travelers.

It was a welcome stop, rest, and resupply. But a warm bath and a warm bed? Not a chance.

The next video is when they arrive at Fort Laramie.

Watch when she takes that bubble bath. AI has her doing it while fully clothed.

Day 59, she wakes, well rested, after sleeping in an actual bed.

Most mysteries, and her father is losing money at the poker table.

One last night in a warm bed.

Honestly, she would have still been sleeping in the wagon.

Day 60, and she says goodbye to Fort Laramie.

It's back on the Oregon Trail and across Wyoming.

Since the video got NOTHING about Fort Laramie right, let's see what they do with the rest of the trip across the Cowboy State, which was full of Native Americans at that time.

More mysteries for her to solve about a murder in her wagon train.

The story is a bit disjointed and very inaccurate about life on the Oregon Trail. But it's still fun to watch and see where this is going.

Now it's on to Casper, Wyoming, and Register Cliff, which is just west of the old fort. Register Cliff is a short drive today, but an all-day push by wagon back then. It's where travelers carved their names in a sandstone cliff, which can be viewed today.

As the wagon train continues West, and a bit north up the Laramie Range, we find more clues from a murder mystery.

The murder mystery never seems to go anywhere, nor does the romance she finds along the way. But that is what we get with disjointed AI writing.

SHE KISSES A BOY!

This is one of the two young men who are looking for her attention along the trail. But they come and go in and out of her life, so she is not sure what to make of them.

Still, she kissed one of them.

Day 64: Red Rum and River Rumors. Today, we buried Mr. Tyson, and the skillet resurfaced. What does Red Rum even mean? Having this letter is starting to weigh me down. It might be better to tell someone about it, but who? Tomorrow we cross the river. If we make it, I’ll see you then.

In the next video, they cross the Platte River. But the video does not mention Fort Casper, and there is nothing about the bridge that was there. You'll see her swimming in the cold river water. It's not realistic, but she is in the right area.

Crossing the cold Platte might have gotten our TayTay sick. In this next episode, she comes down with a sickness that almost does her in.

They will soon arrive at Independence Rock if she survives it.

While Tay is sick, Aunt Susan takes over the journal.

Day 67: Tay is very sick. So Aunt Susan is taking over the Oregon Trail posts until she recovers. Just found out about the murder letter and trying to make sense of this all. Chad and Nurse Deidre are working hard to bring Tay back to good health. Pray for our sweet girl.

The wagon train finally arrives at Independence Rock. Tay is still sick.

Day 68: Names in Red. Tay’s fever broke, but we’re not out of the woods just yet. Misti gave me a tonic that I hope helps Tay and there are secrets on this trail that some should just let be.

Tay's younger brother writes her name on the rock. He assumes she will be dead soon.

Tey's fever finally breaks, and she is back to hosting the blog.

Our girl will soon pass through Devil's Gate. But I'm not sure that the writers of this adventure know what Devil's Gate is within sight of Independence Rock.

We are back to gossip, ghosts, and murder mysteries.

The video below is where she mentions Devil's Gate.

It would only take about an hour for the wagon train to travel from Independence Rock to Devil's Gate. This story makes it sound like it took a day or more.
