A prank does not need to be complicated to be EPIC.

The Guernsey Wyoming high school had a FOR SALE sign out in front of it, making people wonder if the old school building was really up for sale.

NOPE! It was a Senior Prank.

See? Simple yet funny as it gets. It's clean, simple, fun, and there wasn't any property damage. Old school buildings have been sold and repurposed in Wyoming many times before, so this is believable.

307 Realty Professionals in Guernsey noticed it and posted these photos on Facebook.

The Class of 2026 senior prank at Guernsey-Sunrise High School involved a lighthearted property stunt where students pretended the building was up for sale. They placed "For Sale" signs around the campus, replacing serious vandalism with a humorous, community-wide joke.

The stunt drew positive attention online as local real estate agencies, such as 307 Realty Pros, shared photos of the joke with the community. It is widely viewed as a harmless tradition compared to past instances in the area.

So, it's the talk of the town, and that is a good thing because, as nice as Guernsey is, there is never much going on there. They need all the laughs they can get.

If I were the principal of the school, I'd leave the sign up for at least a week.

There were no posts that I could find about how long the sign was allowed to stay up or if it is still up.

The Charmingly Odd Town Of La Grange Wyoming

It is well worth the long drive to see one of the most interesting and quirky little towns in Wyoming.

Stay for lunch. You won't regret it.
