Ross Schriftman (R) Runs for House District 37, Wyoming
Meet Ross Schriftman, an insurance salesman living in Casper, Wyoming, who is running for the Republican House District 37. That is the seat currently held by Representative Steve Harshman.
Ross came to the Casper studios of Wyoming's morning talk radio show, Wake Up Wyoming, for an interview with talk host Glenn Woods.
You can listen to that interview in the audio file below.
"I chose Wyoming because it still values freedom, responsibility, and local control. After getting involved locally by showing up, speaking up, and doing the work, I am running to protect taxpayers, defend parents, and push back on the culture of big spending and backroom government". Says Ross.
Ross has a list of issues that he explains in detail on his website. He also encourages people to call him with any questions they might have.
I am a long-time small business professional and licensed insurance agent (since 1975). I have spent decades helping families make practical decisions about health coverage and long-term care insurance. In Natrona County, I have testified before legislative committees, spoken at City Council and School Board meetings, and serve as President of the Natrona County Chapter of Wyoming Right to Life.
He lists his priorities as:
Taxpayer watchdog: transparent budgets, less waste, and opposition to tax hikes that punish families and seniors.
Affordability: policies that keep housing, utilities, and everyday costs under control.
Parents and education: parental rights, academic excellence, and real transparency in schools.
Health care choice: less red tape and more control for citizens, not bureaucrats and insurance company executives.
Protect life: defend the dignity of every human life from conception to natural death.
