The city of Sheridan, Wyoming is finalizing plans to honor their fallen officers with a service and march to be held Friday, March 1st.

These services will include a chance for the entire community to pay their respects.

Here is what we know regarding Sgt. Nevada Krinkee's service

Police honors will be held at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome on the Sheridan College campus, located at 1 Whitney Way in Sheridan, starting at 1 p.m.

The public is invited to watch the procession which begins at noon at 11th and Main Streets.

From there the slow walk will proceed south to Coffeen Avenue, then on Coffeen Avenue to the entrance of Sheridan College and the Golden Dome.

Community members are asked to pay respects by lining the procession route.

As we've seen in the past with fallen servicemen in Wyoming, the streets are expected to be packed. Folks are asked to arrive early, due to the number of people expected to take part.

Friends and family will then hold a private memorial at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
