Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray is running for Wyoming's lone seat in the House of Representatives in Washington DC. He was good enough to join Wyoming's morning radio talk host Glenn Woods to discuss why he is running and what he hopes to accomplish.

Before becoming Wyoming's Secretary of State, Chuck served six years in the Wyoming House of Representatives.

Chuck was the lead sponsor of Wyoming's landmark voter ID law passed in 2021. Earlier, in his first year in office, he authored and passed Wyoming's ultrasound bill in 2017, the first pro-life legislation to pass the Wyoming Legislature in 30 years. For his work protecting life and families, Chuck received Wyoming Right to Life's Platinum Award, the organization's highest honor.

You can hear the audio of that interview below.

He has consistently fought to protect coal, oil, and gas jobs. In 2019, he led the effort to pass legislation forcing the Wyoming Attorney General to defend Wyoming's coal export rights after Washington State attempted to block access to key export terminals.

He defended President Trump against lawfare attacks. In 2023, when activists attempted to remove President Trump from the ballot, Chuck fought back—filing an amicus brief before the Colorado Supreme Court and becoming the only Secretary of State in the nation to file an amicus brief at the United States Supreme Court explicitly supporting President Trump.

As much as he has accomplished at the state level, he hopes moving to the Federal level will allow him to solve some issues for Wyoming that can only be solved in Congress.
