I've got some fantastic news to taco-bout. Here's a hint - it involves delicious burrito bowls, freshly made tacos, and a whole lot of guacamole. Hold onto your appetites, folks, because Chipotle is coming to Laradise!

Chipotle Comes to Laramie: Grand Opening Details

On Friday, November 10, Chipotle opened its first-ever Laramie location. The new Chipotle marks only the second location in all of Wyoming, the first of which is in Cheyenne. The Laramie restaurant is different than the one in Cheyenne because it offers a - wait for it - Chipotlane and a drive-thru pickup for digital orders. Customers don't even have to leave their car to pick up their fave orders...Gotta love that convenience.

Laramie's Chipotle at 2615 Grande Ave. opens at 10:45 a.m. on Friday and stays open for hungry burrito seekers until 10 p.m. The restaurant will serve Chipotle classics like its chips, salsa, and chicken burrito bowls, plus the carne asada limited-release item.

Chipotle Wants to Give Back to Laramie

Laramie's newest restaurant offers fundraising opportunities for local charities and programs. The restaurant offers to host fundraisers where 33% of sales go back to the program sponsored by the event. The fundraisers can operate with digital or in-person sales. Chipotle is proud to offer our communities the opportunity to host a fundraiser with 33% of sales given back to the established cause. According to a Chipotle representative, "Organizations wanting to set up a fundraiser can reach out to us via the Philanthropy section of our website at https://community.chipotle.com/."

About Chipotle

Chipotle was founded by Steve Ells in 1993. Ells was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in NYC. The first Chipotle opened in Denver, Colorado. Ells helped pioneer the concept of fast, casual dining establishments alongside similar institutions like Panera and Noodles. In a 2017 press release, Ells explained, "I opened that restaurant with the novel idea to show that food that was served fast didn't have to be a typical fast food experience and with the hope of financing a 'real restaurant.'" Today, Chipotle has over 2,300 locations across the country.

Historic Wyoming Hotels

Wyoming's once wild west also incorporated a little luxury. Several fine hotels dotted the state, along trade routes and railroad lines. They have rich histories, and of course, ghost legends.
