
Community on Alert After Ice Fishing Gear Theft in Burns
The Laramie County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's help reeling in whoever snagged a Burns resident's valuable ice fishing gear.
According to Public Information Officer Brandon Warner, the theft occurred outside a home in the 100 block of Prairie Avenue.

"Prior to January 14th, someone took two Milwaukee cases containing ice fishing equipment and electronics," said Warner.
Warner says the gear is worth thousands of dollars.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at 307-638-TIPS or visit silentwitnesslaramiecounty.com.
Informants will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
