Wyoming's All-Republican Congressional Delegation has endorsed Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray in his race for the state's lone seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Gray, the Republican nominee, faces Democrat Lisa Kinney, Libertarian Shawn Johnson, and Constitution Party candidate Jeff Haggit on November 3 for the seat currently held by Republican Harriet Hageman. Hageman is running for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Cynthia Lummis, who is retiring.

Lummis and Hageman joined Senator John Barrasso in making a video in support of Republican candidates, including Gray:

Gray Thanks Barrasso, Lummis and Hageman

Gray, in a news release, thanked Barrasso, Lummis and Hageman for their support:

“I’m deeply honored to receive these endorsements from Senator Barrrasso, Senator Lummis, and Congresswoman Hageman. I look forward to working alongside them to address affordability and reduce the cost of living.  We must address rural health care and keep public lands in public hands.  I will also keep the border secure, and I will bring Wyoming focused leadership to Congress.”

Barasso, in his comments, also specifically endorsed Republican gubernatorial candidate Eric Barlow. All three members of the delegation urged support for Republicans running for offices ranging from the legislature to Congress.

An email to Governor Mark Gordon's spokeswoman, Amy Edmonds, asking if the Governor is endorsing anyone in Wyoming's congressional race, was not immediately answered. The governor in recent days has endorsed Eric Barlow to succeed him as governor, as well as the Republican candidates.

Wyoming has not elected a Democrat to the U.S.House since Teno Roncalio of Rock Springs won re-election in 1976.
