Head-On Collision Near Guernsey Claims Motorcyclist’s Life
The Wyoming Highway Patrol says driver inattention may be to blame for a head-on collision near Guernsey that left a motorcyclist dead.
The crash happened around 12:43 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, at milepost 12.6 on U.S. 26, about two miles west of Guernsey.

Passing Attempt Leads to Head-On Collision
According to a fatality crash summary, the driver of a Ford F-150 was headed east when they attempted to pass a hatchback and collided with an oncoming Harley-Davidson being ridden by 62-year-old Colorado resident Kerry Gunn.
"Both vehicles attempted to avoid a collision by veering toward the ditch on the north side of the road," the summary reads. "Both vehicles collided, and the motorcycle operator was thrown from the motorcycle."
Sadly, Gunn, who was not wearing a helmet, didn't survive the crash. The pickup driver was not injured.
