Noise Disturbance Call Leads to Wanted Cheyenne Man’s Arrest

A 37-year-old Cheyenne man who was being sought on a warrant is facing a handful of charges after police say they caught him with drugs.

According to a booking sheet, police were dispatched to 615 E. 7th Street at 1:08 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4 in reference to a noise disturbance.

Police contacted Patrick Michael Jimenez in the alley behind the home, who initially refused to provide any identifying information and then gave police a false name.

Police say when they attempted to arrest Jimenez, he ran into an open garage. He was subsequently tackled and restrained until he could be handcuffed.

When police searched Jimenez, they reportedly found 13.12 grams of methamphetamine, 1.5 grams of liquid THC, and 0.5 grams of THC wax on him. He also had a Wyoming identification card on him with his correct information.

Police say Jimenez had a Cheyenne Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of unlawful entry onto property signed by Judge David Singleton on July 20, 2023, and said that was why he lied about his identity.

Jimenez was arrested and booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on the warrant as well as charges of breach of peace, interference with a peace officer, felony possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

He was scheduled to make his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court Wednesday morning, but was uncooperative and moved to Thursday afternoon's list.
