It’s a double header. Since it only took seven minutes for his first show at Boston’s historic and legendary Fenway Park to sell out, it’s no surprise that Jason Aldean has added a second show at the famed baseball stadium, home to the Boston Red Sox.

The singer’s first show, scheduled for Saturday, July 13, 2013, sold out yesterday (Oct. 26) morning. A second show was immediately added for Friday, July 12, 2013. So it’s a two-fer weekend next summer for Aldean and the city of Boston. Miranda Lambert will join Aldean, as will special guests Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett.

Aldean is the first country artist to ever headline Fenway, and his morning sell-out was the quickest in the venue’s history. Aldean got a lot done in less than 10 minutes, didn’t he?

Fan club members will enjoy early access to the pre-sale on Oct. 30. Sox season ticket holders will be able to grab their tickets the following day, while the general public onsale is set for Nov. 2.

Aldean’s new album ‘Night Train’ is out now. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200. It was a banner week for Aldean, where lots of units and tickets were moved. He’s knocking ‘em out of the park.
