JELL-O Explains Why They Don’t Sell ‘JELL-O Pudding Pops’ Anymore
When I was a kid in the late 80s, one of my favorite frozen treats was Jell-o Pudding Pops. They've been off store shelves for close to 20 years now. I wrote to them asking if they'd bring them back and they said something that took me by surprise.
What do you mean. Seriously? Because my parents didn't buy them all the time they're no longer available? My parents didn't buy a lot of ice cream sandwiches but I still see those and in multiple varieties on shelves all year long.
And you can't blame my parents now. I have my own money and am willing to buy at least one box a month for a year if these come back. If pudding pops came back, they'd make headlines, I promise.
So please, JELL-O, please bring back the JELL-O Pudding Pops one more time. Even if it's just for the year to test out today's market. If they're not up to your standards I suppose you could pull them off store shelves again but if others miss them as much as I do, I don't foresee that happening.
