John Fogerty Has a Thing For Miranda Lambert!
You all remember John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival, right? Well before he was a rock icon...John Fogerty had a great affinity for country music. His appreciation for the country extends to a select few of today's biggest country acts, including Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert, both of whom he recruited for a new album of original music he's been putting together for the past several months. He also teamed up with rocks Foo Fighters. Although the disc has no official release date yet, he's slated to tour Australia and New Zealand in March, with possible U.S. dates later this year.
John tells Billboard Brad Paisley is "a person I really admire for a whole bunch of reasons and a heck of a nice guy, too."
He's also clearly taken with Miranda, saying, "She's a great voice and a great, soulful presence in music, and really a delightful person."
In fact, at last month's House of Blues performance by Miranda's trio Pistol Annies, John joined the trio for a performance of his own 1969 rock classic, 'Bad Moon Rising.' At the same show, Miranda also performed 'Dear Diamond,' from her 'Four the Record' album, which she prefaced by noting (according to Rolling Stone), "I don't mean to brag. But... he texted me and told me this is one of his favorites."

John and Miranda have more in common than just music. He's set to act on (and provide the theme song for) the new FOX series 'The Finder,' which debuts at 9:00 P.M. ET Thursday (Jan. 12), while Miranda is slated to appear on an upcoming episode of 'Law & Order: SVU.'
