With the dog days of summer upon us, Casper folks are looking for any way possible to get out and cool down. As any native will tell you, we have nine months of winter, three months of summer...with maybe a day or two of spring and fall mixed in.

When the weather heats up, it's only natural to want to take advantage of it. Some people spend all summer out at the lake. Others take random trips. Then, there's those of us that have limited time, money, or transportation. Sometimes, children dictate how we spend our summers.

Don't miss out on one last big outdoor pool event this summer!

Tuesday, July 22 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. you can enjoy two hours of swimming and get two scoops of ice cream, all for only $2 per person!  Join in the fun at the Washington Park pool for a late day cool down.  All children 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the water.  Regular pool rules apply.

Come on in and splash around!  For more information please call the Casper Recreation Center at 235-8383 or check our website www.activecasper.gov.
