First, let me say that one of the very best YouTube channels that focuses on our state is Our Wyoming Life. I love these guys. They do professional yet down-to-earth looks at what it's like to live here.

One of the tools they use to capture farming and ranching in Wyoming is a DJI Phantom 3 drone. Our Wyoming Life was trying to get video from above of one of their dudes working on hay. The only problem is there was a fast-approaching storm and it was packing the typical crazy Wyoming hail. As you can see in the video above, the storm overtook them before they could get their drone to the ground.

After finally tracking the drone down after it crashed more than a mile away, they cleaned it off and took it out to try it the next day. Would it fly? Did it survive the surprise Wyoming hail event? Yep.
