A 27-year-old man is accused of hiding out in the cooler of a Cheyenne liquor store so he could drink for free after hours.

Police say surveillance camera footage shows Sean A. Moore entering the cooler at DT’s Liquor Mart at 10:30 pm on Wednesday.  The store closed half an hour later and soon afterward he was shown leaving the cooler and walking throughout the store.

The Associated Press is reporting that employees found open containers of alcohol the next day.

Police identified Moore, who is described as a transient, from the surveillance video and went looking for him.  It turns out he was already in jail because a few hours after leaving the cooler he was arrested for making harassing calls to 911 dispatch.

Moore is charged with misdemeanor shoplifting.
