We're giving you advice for your Memorial Day Weekend plans for Yellowstone that you don't want to read.

If you decide to visit the park, pack your cold-weather gear, snow chains, warm clothing, ice scrapers, and all the other winter items that would normally be in your vehicle. Many roads and areas in the park could be affected this weekend as weather is moving through.

(Heads Up!) Due to current and anticipated winter weather conditions and significant snowfall, some roads in Yellowstone National Park are, or will be, temporarily closed due to hazardous driving conditions.

◾ The East Entrance and road from East Entrance to Fishing Bridge Junction is temporarily closed and is expected to remain closed until tomorrow, May 24.

◾ The South Entrance and road from South Entrance to Grant Village will temporarily close at 5 p.m. today, May 23, and is expected to remain closed until tomorrow, May 24.

◾ The road from Canyon Village to Tower Fall (Dunraven Pass) remains temporarily closed.

Anticipate additional road closures due to inclement weather and dangerous driving conditions. Temporary travel restrictions or closures can occur at any time without notice. Have flexible travel plans and watch for quickly changing weather conditions. Roads and entrances will reopen once conditions improve.
