Help Local Kids With Summer Food Donations At Menards
School's out for summer, and some families will struggle to make ends meet and have a stocked pantry while the kids are not in school. In times of need, these families will need to turn to the community for help. Luckily, here in Wyoming, there are many opportunities for those families to reach out to get the help they need.
To help restock food banks, the Menards home improvement store is serving as a drop-off location until July 31, 2026. If you're heading into Menards and want to support the mission of helping these families, all you'll need to do is take non-perishable food items and place them in the collection boxes near the store's exit.
Now, if you don't just have extra non-perishable items lying around the house, you can obviously check out Menards' surprisingly large food section and pick up a few items to donate. If you haven't been into their grocery section, it's actually incredible, and you'll find things you may not see in other stores.
Personally, I've always been a huge fan of the selection of pickled items at Menards. I promise you'll find things you've never seen before, and since I'm from the Midwest, I'll find brands I find back home, like the Prairie Farms brand of milk products.
So, while you're out picking up supplies for your next home project, grab a few items to help the families of Natrona County. When you're choosing items, think about items your own kids like to eat.
