If there's an animal that Wyomingites worry about their future, it's likely the mule deer. The mule deer population has been declining for many years, and conservation programs are working to stop the decline and help the population grow. Groups like the Muley Fanatics and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department have invested time, money, and effort into creating solutions to help the species thrive.

One way they're working together to make that happen is through Mule Deer Days, which is just happening this weekend at the Sweetwater Events Center in Rock Springs,  an event designed to benefit mule deer.

The motivation behind this event is our commitment to conservation. The sporting community, particularly the sportsmen and sportswomen, have expressed a deep regard for the wildlife of our nation. It's an endeavor that's been supported by countless individuals who've made substantial sacrifices to uphold our liberties. Consequently, we have a responsibility to safeguard mule deer, other wildlife species, their habitats, and the tradition of hunting. Upon the conclusion of this event, a thorough financial report detailing funds raised and expenses incurred will be processed. The remaining 70% of the net proceeds will be judiciously allocated by a dedicated volunteer committee.

This year's Mule Deer Days will be March 13-15 and will be full of seminars, movie nights, a vendor show, and an appearance by Cody Robbins from the Live2Hunt outdoor show.

The vendor show is free to the public and features companies that are the backbone of conservation, hunting, and the outdoor way of life. You can see the list of vendors and event sponsors at Mule Deer Days.com
