Natrona County Primary Election August 18, Find Your Polling Place Online

You've been seeing and hearing political commercials from politicians asking for your vote in the August 18 primary. You're getting tired of it too, aren't ya? The good news is you'll get a break from those ads for a little while, anyway.

The reason you hear/ see those ads is so that you can research and decide which candidate is going to be the best person you'd like to cast your vote for. I know it's quite stressful, and sometimes just outright overwhelming, because you want to make the best decision.

There's lots of information floating out there, especially with Social Media campaigns that may or may not be legit. Taking a little time to do your own research can help you make decisions and make your time at the polls quicker and easier.

The Natrona County website is a great resource for learning about the candidates running for office in Natrona County, finding your voting district, and learning where to go to cast your ballot.

The polling place locator is really easy to use. Enter your house number in the locator, and the program will list every house in Natrona County with that number and show you where to go to cast your vote.

If you haven't registered to vote, you can register at your polling place location when you go to vote.

In order to register to vote, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Be a citizen of the United States;
• Be a resident of the State of Wyoming and the precinct in which you register;
• Be a bona fide resident in Wyoming for not less than 30 days before the date of election;
• Be 18 years of age on election day;
• Not be convicted of a felony, or if convicted, have had Wyoming voting rights restored;
• Not be adjudicated mentally incompetent;
• Withdraw voter registration from any other jurisdiction, if applicable;
