Nella Vasquez Dies From Injuries Sustained at Second and Beverly Collision

A woman has died as a result of a vehicle-pedestrian collision last week.

The Natrona County Coroner says 65-year-old Nella Vasquez died Saturday night from severe traumatic brain injuries she suffered when she was hit by a vehicle while the crossing the intersection on Second and Beverly Streets in Casper on Thursday, March 29th.

Police say Vasquez was walking westbound on Second crossing Beverly, when a vehicle coming the other way struck her while making a left turn.

Investigators are still trying to determine who was at fault in the collision and are uncertain if charges will be filed against the driver.
