One of the many wonders of Wyoming is a spring off the beaten path near Afton that kind of "breathes" off and on every hour of every day. It's called the Periodic Intermittent Spring and there's new drone video that shows why this geological feature is such a wonder.

This was just shared by The Droning Veteran YouTube channel.

Travel Wyoming has more details on the Periodic Intermittent Spring including the fact that it starts and then stops about every 20 minutes. At full force, they share that the spring can produce a flow of 100 cubic feet per second. Slowly it will stop for about another 18 minutes before it begins again.

TripAdvisor says this is the world's largest intermittent spring and the reviews show that those who visit enjoy the experience. Michael D rated it 5 stars and said this:

This is a must see if ever in Afton, Wyoming. An easy hike in a few free park takes you to this stream. The scenery is breathtaking as you hike the 3/4 of a mile to get to it.

Unless you're a heart patient with concerns, this is a somewhat mile hike of less than a mile. Those that make the trip here say that it's more than worth the effort. It's another one of those only in Wyoming kind of adventures that we are famous for.
