As Old Dominion prepares for their performance in Casper in April, Trevor Rosen visited with us by phone to talk about what's ahead for the band in 2019 and some Wyoming things they can do when they come to town.

I don't remember doing any Wyoming things. We didn't go hiking or anything like that. I know it was beautiful though.

Old Dominion really broke through over the past couple of years from opening for Kenny Chesney to headlining their own tour.

Doc: Has it really sunk in that Old Dominion is now a big thing?

Trevor: "You know, it's starting to. Three sold out shows in a row where we're just looking out over this arena. We've played stadiums and arenas before, but it was somebody else's show. These people came to see us...it's hard to wrap your head around, but it's starting to sink in the more we do it."

When a band is on the road, it's not easy making time to do outdoor things where they happen to be playing. In Wyoming, we have so many outdoor options, we asked Trevor about what Wyoming things he and the band plan to do when they come to Casper.

Trevor: "I don't remember doing any Wyoming things. We didn't go hiking or anything like that. I know it was beautiful though."

We then asked Trevor if he's seen a Jackalope or gone on a snipe hunt cause that's what we do.

Trevor: "I can't say that I did. Do you have one set up for us?" (laughs)

Prairie Wife loves cars and loves the Old Dominion song "Make it Sweet" which led to her asking Trevor if anyone in the band actually has a CJ7.

Trevor: "Yeah, Matthew actually does...if you watch the video for Make It Sweet actually, we filmed it in Malibu, but Matt had his Jeep shipped out there. He wanted his own Jeep in the video."

We discovered from Trevor that Old Dominion's Brad Tursi thinks he's a great golfer. That led to a challenge from us to attempt to play golf in the Wyoming wind. Trevor promised to go with him and take video if Brad tries this in Casper.

You don't want to miss Old Dominion when they come to the Casper Events Center on April 10. They are one of the most energetic live bands in country and are sure to put on a fun show. Get your tickets while they're still available.
