Rare Crash Causes Downtown Casper Streets To Be Closed

Downtown Casper is a police hot spot this morning as an investigation is underway. Overnight a single vehicle crash has closed the majority of streets going through the downtown area.

Casper Police are asking the community to avoid the area so police can effectively complete the multi-agency investigation into the cause of the wreck.

No reports on the condition of those involved as this time.

No foot or vehicle traffic will be allowed until the investigation and scene is cleaned up.

Wolcott from 1st to Midwest, 2nd from Center to Beech will be closed until further notice.

At this time, there's no word on when the area will be re-opened to traffic. CPD will give updates as soon as possible.
