Rock Springs Police Identify 2 People Found Dead Monday

The Rock Springs Police Department has identified the two people who were found dead inside a home Monday morning.

Hunter Sewell, 26, and Whitney Sewell, 29, were found dead inside their Rock Springs home, the department said on its Facebook page Tuesday.

A day earlier, the department said officers were called to the home in the 100 Block of Sherman Street for a report of a possible dead body at roughly 9:30 a.m.

There is no indication of any immediate threat to the public, the department said.

The investigation into the deaths remains active. Police have not released any apparent cause of the deaths.
