School District: Suspicious Man Approached Student in Bar Nunn

The Natrona County Sheriff's office is investigating after a suspicious man reportedly approached a student who was walking in the area of Bar Nunn Elementary.

The man reportedly drove a full-sized light blue van, according to Natrona County School District spokesperson Tanya Southerland. She says no further identifying information is available at this time.

The sheriff's office will have an increased presence in the area throughout the day and after school.

Parents and guardians are asked to remind their students that they should not accept rides from unknown people. Students also should not approach unknown vehicles or people.

Any suspicious activity should be reported by students to their bus driver, school personnel, parents or guardians or local law enforcement.
