Self-Cleaning Car Could Revolutionize the Auto Industry
In news that will make car washes around the world cringe, Nissan is working on the world's first self-cleaning car.
According to the video description, "Nissan has begun tests on innovative paint technology that repels mud, rain and everyday dirt, meaning drivers may never have to clean their car again."
Well, that's just great. It means you never run the risk of taking the time to haul your car into the car wash to get it all shiny only to have a surprise thunderstorm render it all useless.
Now, if only someone could develop a self-cleaning mechanism for the inside of a car so that it doesn't look like you need to be put crime scene tape around all the coffee cups and hamburger wrappers you have stacked up.
