‘Star Wars: Episode 7′ First Look: It’s the New Millennium Falcon!
We had heard late last year that a full-scale Millennium Falcon was built for 'Star Wars: Episode 7' in London, but it's one thing to hear about a new, full-scale Millennium Falcon and actually see a new, full-scale Millennium Falcon. Well, wait no longer because hot off the heels of yesterday's set photo leak from Tatooine, today we have photos of Millennium Falcon throughout its construction, as well as what looks like a new X-Wing!
The photos come to us again from TMZ (who must be paying a pretty penny for all these 'Star Wars' leaks) and while these photos are just appearing now, they were actually taken throughout the fall of 2013 as the 'Episode 7' production team constructed the Millennium Falcon off-site for transportation to Pinewood Studios (where the film will actually be shot).
It's something of a no-brainer that the Millennium Falcon is returning, based on what we know of the film so far. According to reports, Han Solo is the very much the lead of 'Star Wars: Episode 7' as it slowly introduces to the new trio of stars - John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and Daisy Ridley - for the rest of the trilogy. There's no way Han Solo and Chewbacca are the lead of a 'Star Wars' movie and there's no Millennium Falcon.
You can take a look at a gallery of shots from the Falcon construction below, and if the past 48 hours are any indication, we should be seeing even more from the set of 'Star Wars: Episode 7' very soon.
