The Central Wyoming Chapter of the American Petroleum Institute is proud to host the 24th Annual A.P.I. Chili Cook-Off to be held February 20, 2016 from 11am-2pm at the Casper Events Center. The theme this year is "Back to the 80's" and for a $10 ticket you get to sample 42 red and green chilis and see the creativity of the teams as they decorate their booths and dress the part...

It all started Friday night with a calcutta that brought in over $131,000 with half of that going to the recipient charities and the other half going to pay out over $13,000 for the first place red and green chilis...
If there is one way to combat the cold that comes with Winter winds, it's by downing over 40 different kinds of chili at the 2012 API Chili Cookoff. Vendors came, saw, and attempted to conquer each other's chili recipe and we the public were able to sample the best chili from all over. The contest was between the vendors, but we were the real winners. Check out these pictures from the event!
