The 2011 CMA Awards winners had plenty to celebrate as they accepted their honors on the year’s biggest night in country music.

Sugarland teamed with Matt Nathanson to perform the song ‘Run’ at the 2011 CMA Awards. The teaming is ideal when you consider that the song was written by Nathanson and Sugarland.

For the Band Perry, the first, second and third time is a charm. The sibling trio picked up the award for New Artist of the Year at the 2011 CMA Awards, following wins for both Song of the Year and Single of the Year.

Country’s funny man Blake Shelton kicked off the 2011 CMA Awards in Nashville, but fortunately, he didn’t take the stage to do stand-up.
