The Wyoming legislature approved one bill to prevent the a federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate from impacting Wyoming businesses, while governor Mark Gordon announced the state will be filing a lawsuit against the federal government on Friday.

The Wyoming Senate voted against House Bill 1001 and against House Bill 1002, which was then voted down by the House.

Wyoming lawmakers went into a special session on Tuesday in response to President Joe Biden's COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
