Tourists Roll Down Windows So Wyoming Grizzlies Can Eat Them
What can I say that hasn't already been said about tourists in Wyoming? There's a new video showing another group of special people who rolled down their car windows when they saw a group of grizzlies walking down the road. Dinner is served, bears.
According to the description on YouTube, this video was taken (through the car window, duh) in April of this year. Yes, these bears are beautiful and it's quite a moment when you can see them this close. But, your first response should not be "hey honey, let's roll the windows down".
You can see the larger bear actually look at the guy taking the video with a look that seems like it says "yeah, you're too stupid for even a hungry bear to eat".
Here's another fun fact. If this video was indeed taken in April, it's entirely possible this group of grizzlies was just coming out of hibernation. That means they have the bear munchies something fierce and are actively looking to chow down. As My Yellowstone Park mentions, late April and early May is prime grizzly waking up time.
I like to tell myself that it's a relatively small percentage of tourists that come to Wyoming that do this kind of stuff, but after the large number of touron videos we've seen this year, I'm beginning to wonder.
