The price of gas just went up in one Michigan community - to nearly $600,000 a gallon!

That's the amount a woman is demanding from a bank that repossessed her car, since she claims they had no right to keep the fuel she'd put into the vehicle before the repo man came.

Victoria Church-Dellinger filed a $5 million class-action suit against Ally Financial -- or roughly the value of all the gas thought to be remaining in cars repossessed over the past six years. She says she'd also accept having the tens of thousands of gallons of gas returned.

A Florida man is in police custody after trying to take a bite out of crime-fighters -- or at least out of their patrol car.

Deputies tried to subdue the man after a homeowner reported that he was going door to door, waving a flashlight and asking that they call 911. When they arrived on the scene, he tossed the flashlight in their direction and began cursing and issuing threats.

As cops tried to restrain him, the guy began biting the hood of the cruiser, scraping the paint down to the bare metal in several places. He then asked the officers to kill him, which they declined to do, taking him to a hospital for a psychiatric hold instead.

A Georgia man found out the second time isn't the charm when he failed in his attempt to rob a bank, then returned to try to get cab fare out of the ATM.

Trevor Gladston entered the bank and handed the teller a note saying, "Hand over all the money or we start shooting." That didn't work, so he fled, hailing a cab and high-tailing it to a local bus station only to discover he had no cab fare.

When the driver insisted he pay, Gladston asked her to take him back to the branch he tried to stick up and while he was trying to make a legal withdrawal, cops arrived to arrest him.
