Nope.

Sometimes I wonder if Tourons speak or read a different language. Time and time again, the rules are repeated. There are signs that tell you to stay away from the animals, not to feed the animals and that the animals are wild.

I understand that some people have an obsession with furry creatures. Anything from a dog to a bison, if it looks snuggly and cuddly, they feel it needs to be touched or held. As time as told us, that's not the case and you should stop now.

When you enter the state of Wyoming from another state, and are pulling a boat behind your vehicle, it's mandatory to stop at an Aquatic Invasive Species checkpoint. If you have a watercraft and the checkpoint is open, there are no options to pass it up.

I've thought we should have a visitors checkpoint. The first visitors center you come to when entering Wyoming, you have to stop, watch a quick video, sign a waiver and then continue on.

If you're flying in for a visit, that process should be done on the plane before landing.

If this was done, there would be zero excuses for trying to pet the bison, wrestle a bear or cuddle a mountain lion.

Across the country there is a very large RVing Community and these folks travel all over to different parts of the country stopping in different locations and taking in the sights of the US.

These folks are, usually, seasoned travelers and have seen the worst of the worst and best of the best of Tourons.

From Bison to Triceratops - All of Wyoming's Official Things

Every state in our nation has chosen things that represent the state in one way or another to be official state things. Like a flower, or animal. Wyoming is no different.

The Equality State, or the Cowboy State, depending on which state slogan you want to go with, has a state flower. But did you know we also have a state tree and a state fish? Yes, we even have a state code.

To be an official thing, a member of the state legislature must write and submit a bill to the legislature declaring that a thing will be the official state thing. Then the legislature votes to pass the bill, or not, if it passes, the governor signs the bill into law and we have a new official state thing.
