Primaries and caucuses are mechanisms used by political parties to choose candidates for public office. Each state usually holds their primaries and caucuses typically in the months prior to the state or national level elections.

All fifty states, the District of Columbia, as well as the nine territories of the United States, now depend exclusively on primaries and caucuses to determine each party's election nominee.

In Wyoming, the Republican caucus will be held on Tuesday, March 1st, 2016.

The Democratic caucus will take place on Saturday, April 9th, 2016.

If you are unsure where you need to go to vote, the Wyoming Secretary of state website had a polling place locator to assist voters.  Click on the link below to find your polling place.
