Summer will soon be here in Wyoming. We are not sure which day summer falls on, but it's coming. We promise. It can't snow forever.

When it finally does arrive tourist will flock from the big cities to wonderful Wyoming places and for the first time in their lives they will see "fluffy cows." They will want to pet them. We keep asking them not to, but they never listen.

But the nation is still trying to fight COVID. Everybody touching the same fluffy cow over and over will only spread the disease.

The state of Wyoming tried to get the cows to wear masks and take a freaking shower once in a while but those bulls are as stubborn as- well, bulls.

So, the state of Wyoming is asking tourist to please stop by the new roadside hand sanitizing stations both before and after petting the fluffy cows and please wear a mask. That way, if they have COVID, there will be less of a chance of spreading it to the next idiot who doesn't have enough common sense to stay in their cars and keep their windows rolled up so like they were asked.

Honestly, there are big signs asking you to stay in your car and keep the windows rolled up. What's the problem here?

And please, as you are being gored by the big, fluffy cow, try not to bleed all over the place. Again we are trying to fight COVID here, and it tends to freak out the other tourists.

Welcome to Wyoming, and thank you for your cooperation.

Snow Crushes Wheatland Wyoming Airplane Hangers

This row of hangars goes back many years. Some history was lost under a crush of snow.

March 21st, 2021. A record-breaking snowstorm had shut down most of Wyoming and was not yet done. Below is a gallery of photos as cleanup continues.

One of the small airports in Platte County, Wyoming is Phifer Airfield on Antelope Gap Road, east of Wheatland. Platte County has the Wheatland airport, along with one in Torrington and Guernsey. They were all shut down in the storm.
