The announcement was made jointly by FOX and the Mountain West Conference Monday afternoon.

Wyoming will enter the game with a 5-2 overall record and a 2-1 record in the Mountain West Conference. Boise State is 3-4 this season and is 2-1 in the Mountain West. The Cowboys are 1-16 overall against the Broncos, the lone win coming back in 2016. UW has never won in Boise, dropping all eight meetings.

Craig Bohl's team have won twice in that venue, both coming in the Potato Bowl back in 2017 and '21.
