LARAMIE -- EA Sports released a teaser Friday for its much-anticipated College Football video game.

Wyoming made an appearance. A couple, actually.

The official-reveal video shows players making their way from the High Altitude Performance Center in the north end zone of War Memorial Stadium onto Jonah Field. Just like on any fall Saturday in Laramie, the team taps the Steamboat Statue en route to the playing surface.

And just like any fall Saturday in Laramie, snow is falling from the night sky.

Another clip shows kicker John Hoyland putting a boot to the ball inside Appalachian State's Kidd Brewer Stadium. Let's just say Cowboys' special teams coaches Shannon Moore and Benny Boyd would not be happy with the kick coverage.

That's all fantasy, of course.

In real life, those two were thrilled with that unit the last time the Pokes and Mountaineers met on a football field. That came last September when Wyoming cornerback Jakorey Hawkins returned a blocked field goal 62 yards for a touchdown with less than two minutes to play. Defensive end DeVonne Harris got his mitt on the ball and the speedster took care of the rest, cruising down the east sideline.

The Cowboys, thanks to those late-game heroics, pulled off a 22-19 victory in Laramie.

You can pre-order College Football 25 right here. The official release date is set for July 19. The last time EA Sports put out a college football game came all the way back in 2013. After the announcement was made that the game would return, student-athletes were now allowed to seek compensation for their name, image and likeness.
