Wyoming Fire Chief Dies Following Ice Control Activities
A Greybull fire chief died in the line of duty late Thursday afternoon.
Chief Paul Murdoch was 53. He is survived by his wife and three children.
He had been engaged in ice abatement operations on the Bighorn River with 24 hours of his death, according to a statement from the Wyoming Local Assistance State Team.
Details on the cause of Murdoch's death were not immediately available.
