If the new ratings are to be believed, Wyoming isn't really big on Game of Thrones. Viewership is lower in our state than any other in the country.

As NBC News reported, the premiere of the new season of Game of Thrones set an HBO record with over 17.4 million people tuned in. It appears most of those watching were not in Wyoming.

Buckrail shared the newest Nielsen ratings which shows viewership of Game of Thrones by state. If you look at the bottom of the list, you'll see Wyoming with only .55 percent of the Game of Thrones audience being here.

Why are we so adverse to Game of Thrones in Wyoming? It's a mystery. A couple of years ago Thrillist explored this topic and about the only conclusion they could come up with is we're not big fans of dragons. Curious.

I'm a bit mystified since it's almost winter all the time in Game of Thrones plus lots of people shoot bows and arrows. That's very Wyoming-ish.
