The Wyoming High School softball season has reached the eighth week of the 2023 season.

The final month of the season is upon us. The countdown to the state championship weekend in Gillette is on. There are two weeks left in the regular season.

There are games on all but one day this week.

MONDAY, MAY 1

Final Score: Cheyenne Central 7 #5 Laramie 1 (conference game) - Hinz had 17 Ks and hit a 3-run HR for the Indians

Final Score: Cheyenne Central 12 #5 Laramie 8 - Central trailed 6-3 and scored 9 in the 2nd and held on for the win.

TUESDAY, MAY 2

Final Score: #1 Cheyenne East 13 #5 Laramie 5 (conference game) - Christensen had 3 hits (HR) & 4 RBIs + got the win in the circle with 12 Ks.

Final Score: #1 Cheyenne East 7 #5 Laramie 2 - East took a 3-0 lead in the 1st inning and pulled away. Oswald had 3 hits, including 1 HR and 3 RBIs.

Final Score: Cheyenne Central 26 Wheatland 4 (conference game) - Central jumped out 9-0 and capped it with 11 runs in the 4th. The Indians had 9 extra-base hits including HRs by Moyte and Thomas. Thomas had 5 hits & 6 RBIs.

Final Score: Cheyenne Central 13 Wheatland 12 - Ross had the game-winning RBI single in the 5th inning.

Final Score: Kelly Walsh 13 Natrona County 0 (conference game) - Griffith tossed a 6-hit shutout with 15 Ks. The Trojans pulled away with 9 runs in their last 2 at-bats.

Final Score: Kelly Walsh 14 Natrona County 10 - a 5-run 5th allowed the Trojans to get the sweep. Attaway had 4 hits & 4 RBIs for KW.
