With lower than average costs for home ownership, instate tuition in addition to low taxes, Wyoming ranks as one of the top 10 states for the middle class to live.

According to MSN Money and GOBankingRates.com, Wyoming is the 8th ranking state in the US for a family with a middle class income.

The median household income of middle class families in Wyoming is just over $75,800.

Wyoming has the lowest in-state tuition costs and fees of any state in the country at just over $5,000.
